Christina Marie Burke

My name is Christina Marie Burke and I am 17 yrs old. I have been singing classical music for almost 8 years now, and I love it! Singing is my passion and something I want to share with everyone. Hopefully you will enjoy my self-titled CD, Christina Marie Burke, as much as I did while making it!

I am just your average teenage girl. I love to hang out with my friends, wakeboard, water ski, play volleyball, run, swim, ride horses, sing (most of all), go to concerts, travel, read, and lay on the beach.

I would like to acknowledge everyone that has been instrumental in any way with this amazing project. Please be assured that I couldn't have done it without you.

First and foremost, I would like to thank God for blessing me with my voice, and allowing me to share it with those I love. To my mom, whom I love very much, I thank her for supporting me and always being there when I needed her. To my dad, who has always been my number one fan, and is responsible for putting this project together from beginning to end, I thank you so very much. To my Aunt Lauren, you are the best pianist in the world. I thank you for laying down the foundation piano tracks for me in such a remarkable way. To my cousin, Russell Mann, you did a great job with the Oboe, and it was so cool having you on my record.

I'd also like to thank Terri Theil, my voice coach, for working with me since the beginning. Your guidance has been irreplaceable. To Chris Lee and Brad Dunn of Lee Way Music, I loved every minute of recording in your studio. It was such an enjoyable experience, thanks. To Matt Martone, my engineer and producer, it was awesome working with you. You found ways to bring out the best in me, thank you so much. To Karen Bundy, thanks for helping my dad find such amazing musicians to back me including Kate Ryan, my arranger and violinist, Beth Luscombe on Viola, Stephen Short on Cello, Charles Lewis on Flute, and of course my dad on Guitar, Greg Craft on Bass, Chris Lee on Drums, Russell Mann on Oboe, and Lauren Bagwell on Piano, I couldn't have asked for better support with orchestration. You guys did an awesome job.

This is a pic of Cori, Samantha, and Christina with my good friend Scott Bartlett, lead guitarist with Saving Abel after a headline gig at the New Daisy in Memphis, Tennessee. Scott has offered to record guitar tracks for me whenever I need for any future projects.

This is a good pic of Jeff Carlisi, 38 Special founder and lead guitarist, and me at Summer NAMM 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was so cool and such a nice guy.

George Lynch signed this slick for me while my dad was at Winter NAMM 09' talking to him about his #008 serial numbered Soldano SLO-100 amp.

My dad talked with Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge about my record and their desire to check out dad's Soldano SLO-100 amps. You might remember Mark was the founder of Creed.

Thanks to the guys in Blackfoot for signing this slick for me while my dad and I were at their concert in Memphis in the fall of 2008. They took time to talk for quite a while after a long show. They are definitely responsible for keeping Southern Rock alive and well.
