Thanks for stopping by the “Guitar For a Cure” page that we’ve built for our dear friend and customer, Peter Gusmano.

For those unfamiliar with this project, Peter recently lost his beloved mother, Lillian Gusmano to ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) or Lou Gehrig’s disease. This horrific disease only allows for an average life expectancy of 2 to 5 years from diagnosis. Just as soon as Peter became aware of his mother’s affliction, he decided then and there to fight for her when she couldn’t. His CD is complete now and we at Blues City Music just want to let him know how proud we are of him and what he is trying to do with this project. Remember, 100% of all proceeds go to the fight against ALS.

Peter used his Soldano Hot Rod 50+ that he bought from us at Blues City Music and his trusty collection of Fender and John Suhr guitars while recording his CD. We really like what we hear with this record and know that you will too.
